The Hip Hop world has once again been blessed by the
DJ Revolution-Philly connection and as usual, it has
accepted another masterpiece with satisfied ears. I
know by now I sound like a broken record, but I am feelin'
everything Millenia is droppin' and this release only
solidify's my position.
Skillz Philly finds North Philly's finest ripping
over a DJ Revolution produced track, paying homage and
accrediting his style to the place y'all call home,
the 215. Grand's lyrical fire fits well into the track
which also features a skillfully chopped up Big L (R.I.P.)
line "grab the mic and watch the skills rip"
by Rev.
Its always nice to hear a dope cut from a Philly artist,
its even better when the song is a direct representation
of the city itself. The B-side, Soldierz (featuring
Baby Blak and Kamachi) is equally as stellar, check
the archives for the run down. For those who haven't
picked this one up yet, I highly encourage all DJ's
to add this jewel to the crates.
