Gangsta Lovin'. Hopefully, the first single from EVE's upcoming album EVE-olution is representative of the sounds on the rest of the project. She and Alicia Keys certainly do their confident woman thing funkily and flawlessly.

Radio has already grabbed onto this summer lovin and doesn't look like its ready to let go anytime soon... and with good reason. No matter how "large" EVE gets she still throws around that Philly street pride that engrained into her deeper than the ink on her paw tatoos. With that in mind, she keeps the love flowin' in her directions from the hood while simultaneously shinning for and wooing the MTV set. Her gruff approach blended with the slickness of the track itself and Alicia's buttery vocals hit head on for an all encompasing song. And don't forget, EVE is a real emcee out here. She's not some disappointing pre-packaged sex kitten a la Trina The Bad Rapper. Witness words strung together such as "hair done, outfit crazy skirts fits just right, wife beater with bangin tan walk in demandin' all eyes here I am..."

EVE just needs to keep doing whatever she's been doing to this point. It's worked like a charm. Philly, Philly.
